Geoservices is a pre-eminent oilfield services company, recognised
throughout the world as a major player in the oil and gas industry.
As an organisation with global scope, Geoservices needs to be
able to locate and attract talent across the world. Having
recruited candidates nationally for many years, Geoservices made
the decision to centralise global recruitment to France.
The challenge at this point was to enable the HR team in France
to identify, source, select, and hire candidates across the globe
while sourcing the best talent and controlling costs. The solution
also needed to be flexible and implemented rapidly. Geoservices
selected Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) as a strategic recruitment
partner.
Implementation took a phased approach: development and launch of
new services, face-to-face discovery, integration and system
configuration, sign-off, and process and system training. The
implementation project was a success, and in the first operational
week over 150 candidates passed through the application
process.
Ultimately, the rapid setup and implementation of full
recruitment services mean that Geoservices will be able to fill
essential roles faster, and the flexible, scalable solution will
enable Geoservices to respond rapidly to spikes in hiring volumes
while retaining competitive advantage by being able to down-scale
during hiring reductions.
