We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Rice to the
position of Chairman of the Board, and Gordon Stuart to the
position of Chief Financial Officer.
Both assume their roles with immediate effect. Tony Rice is the
Group Managing Director, Central and Finance Director of Cable
& Wireless. He was previously Chief Executive of Tunstall
Holdings, prior to which he was Group Treasurer and then Group MD
Commercial Aircraft of British Aerospace plc. Tony serves as a
Trustee of Help the Aged and as a Nonexecutive Director of Punch
Taverns plc.
Gordon Stuart was most recently Group Finance Director of Xansa
plc until its acquisition by Groupe Steria SCA. Prior to that he
was Finance Director at London Bridge Software Holdings plc and has
also held senior executive positions at Dell Computer Corporation
and McKinsey and Co. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of England and Wales, and began his financial career at
Price Waterhouse. Gordon is a nonexecutive director and Chair of
the Audit Committee of Intec Telecom Systems plc.
