Clients Vodafone, Deloitte, GeoServices and MedImmune also scoop
HRO Practitioner Superstar awards.
8th January 2010 - HRO Today magazine,
the leading Human Resources (HR) magazine read by over 70,000 HR
executives and leaders worldwide has published its list of 2010
Superstars which included Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) founder
and CEO, Rosaleen Blair as the only non-US based Superstar in the
“Providers” category.
Rosaleen Blair is widely credited with pioneering the concept of
recruitment process outsourcing and continues to lead from the
front, with her vision and creativity driving the business and its
people forward to further success. The addition to the 2010 HRO
Superstar list is yet further recognition of a career of
achievements that include highlights such as winning Ernst &
Young's London Business Products & Services Entrepreneur of the
Year in 2006, and the prestigious Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of
the Year in 2007.
Elliot Clark, Chairman and CEO of SharedXpertise Media, LLC, the
publisher of HRO Today magazine, said, "Our provider superstars are
those individuals who are shaping the direction of the HRO
industry. Rosaleen has been leading the way in the industry since
it began and this award recognises this achievement. The growth of
Alexander Mann Solutions to its current position as a worldwide
industry leader in breadth of service has been relentless.
Ultimately, they continue to set the global standard that other
companies aspire to achieve. We're pleased to welcome Rosaleen to
the 2010 HRO Superstar list."
This achievement follows on from Alexander Mann Solutions
significant achievements in HRO Today’s Baker’s Dozen 2009 awards,
where they scooped the Global Market Leader and Breadth of Services
Leader awards.
Rosaleen Blair commented, “It’s a tremendous honour to be
recognised by HRO Today with this award. From the outset, our
culture of client focus and driving innovation has defined
Alexander Mann Solutions very being. We never settle for second
best and constantly challenge the norm, making sure our clients get
exactly what they require and more.”
Alexander Mann Solutions clients were also included in the
highly coveted list of Practitioner Superstars. These include,
Denise Edwards of Vodafone, Alyson Sparks of Deloitte, Franck
Thibault of GeoServices and Max Donley of MedImmune.
These wins further confirm Alexander Mann Solutions’ position as
the world’s most geographically diverse provider of RPO services,
and demonstrate the consistently high standards that AMS and its
clients offer in a global business environment.
The criteria for inclusion in the Superstar lists were as
follows:
• Provider Superstars are chosen for the
innovations they bring to the marketplace.
Sometimes they’re prodded by clients; other times, they’re thinking
creatively, offering services and solving issues that are more
cost-effective and of a higher quality of service than those around
them. In addition, they often act as consultants to businesses and
help buyers make necessary changes to policy that helps not only
their customers business, but also their own.
• Practitioner Superstars demonstrate a vision
for building the most effective HR services. HR outsourcing used to
be a gamble, and many past pioneering organisations helped to bring
outsourcing into the mainstream. They’ve become more sophisticated
about deals, more definitive about service level agreements, and
more attentive to development of their
governance models.
