We do this through structured programmes, formal learning and
informal, peer-based development. This takes the form of our Career
Development Centre, an award-winning training and development
function.
Structured Programmes, Focused Learning
In the next 12 months, our Career Development Centre team will
deliver more than 8,000 man hours of training. Amongst other
things, they'll help our people managers understand how to manage
and motivate their teams better. They'll train our recruiters in
the latest web-based sourcing technologies. They'll help us all
communicate more effectively. And they'll align their training
programmes to our competency framework to ensure that everyone in
our business has the skills they need to excel in their role.
A Culture of Development
Because of the people we are, we’ve developed a culture of
continuous feedback, learning and mentoring. Our team structure
encourages coaching, and our teams network and share ideas. Our
need to be innovative in our solutions and offerings requires us to
