AMS Legal Expert Makes Move to New York City

April 6, 2011 – Alexander Mann Solutions (AMS) – the leading international player in recruitment process outsourcing and consulting – this week formally welcomes its Global General Counsel, Selva Naidu, to his new location in New York.

Selva, who originally founded the AMS legal function and a number of the company’s subsidiary businesses as well as negotiated the majority of AMS’s global and regional client contracts, moves from the company’s London headquarters to take on the pivotal role in New York. While retaining a global remit, he will have the opportunity to focus on the legal and compliance infrastructure in the Americas, which presents a challenging regulatory landscape. The appointment is designed to strengthen the ambitious expansion plans of AMS in the Americas.

A highly experienced corporate lawyer with extensive knowledge of outsourcing at local, regional and global levels, Selva has been with AMS for more than six years, working across the UK, Asia and Europe. The legal and compliance function he created has taken on a key strategic role in client, supplier and contingent worker contractual engagements and relationships. An alumnus of the National University of Singapore, as well as prestigious London schools such as Cass, LSE and Imperial College, Selva has worked previously for leading law, professional services and outsourcing firms.

“If you want to be at the cutting-edge of the global economy” says Selva, “then AMS with its delivery footprint in more than 60 countries is the place for you. Our corporate culture enables any employee to contribute from any part of the world if a business case can be demonstrated. I hope that my presence in New York City enables AMS to expand its interests and activities in the Americas and supports our market leadership objectives. After several years in Asia and Europe, I am excited to continue my AMS career in this part of the world.”
